Annual Santa Toy Drive

Each year, the Charitable Fund is proud to partner with the Augusta Regional Airport and Augusta Partnership for Children to facilitate the Santa fly-In.  

With the assistance of Augusta Partnership for Children, 41 families with a total of 142 children were invited to the Augusta Regional Airport for a Christmas Party! The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Elsa, and Anna joined in on the fun as the kids danced, made crafts, jumped in bouncy houses, and enjoyed a Christmas morning breakfast. Then, the kids were gathered on the tarmac to greet Santa as he was flown in by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter. Santa handed each family bags filled with wrapped gifts that were purchased off the children's wish list. In addition, Faith Baptist Church of Thomson and Woodlawn Baptist Church were on hand to provide each family with ham and all the fixings so they could have a Christmas dinner at home with their families.
